Slawek Platta, Republican and Reform Party candidate for New York’s 15th State Senate District announced today that he has filed close to 4,000 signatures just before yesterday’s midnight deadline to put the No Homeless Shelter Party on the ballot for the November 2018 Elections.
Platta, a staunch opponent of proposed large-scale homeless shelters in residential neighborhoods of Ozone Park, Glendale and Middle Village / Maspeth, said that the shelters are one of the top issues on voter minds.

Slawek Platta, Republican and Reform Party candidate for New York’s 15th State Senate District will hold an opening ceremony for his newly established campaign headquarters at 66-17 Fresh Pond Road in the Ridgewood section of Queens on Monday, August 20th at 7 pm.
Platta is running against Tom Sullivan in the Thursday, September 13th primary and expects to face off with the incumbent, Democrat Joseph Addabbo, Jr., in November.
